Steam Workshop support now available
You can now share creations created with the Gateways Editor through Steam Workshop:

The Gateways Editor is available from the 'Tools' menu of your Steam library. There are also a couple of new achievements related to the Workshop so get creating!

I feel like I'm probably derping something, but I can't find it in the Tools menu yet, and I'm guessing that is needed in order to upload levels to the Steam Workshop.

...I figured out how to download the levels though, you just need to "subscribe" to a level and it will download automatically.

Same here, no Gateways Editor yet.

Ugh, looks like Valve set the Workshop to be live but not the editor. Hopefully this will be sorted very soon!

OK, it should be available now. Let me know if you guys still have problems.

Gateways Editor is not available on your current platform.
Any plans about this problem?

The editor is Windows only I'm afraid.

So just use a virtual machine Windows 7 or somethin' to fix this problem.

How do you get the achievement for recording a solution for a help point?
Is this linked to the Gateways Editor and must be done in a self-created map or is it not obtainable yet?
Zhuinden Aug 30, 2013 @ 2:42am
It must be done in a self-created map I think, yes.

I haven't done it yet. Recording solutions breaks my heart. A puzzle is meant to be solved. But I'll unlock it later somehow anyways, maybe on a blank map. xD
SmudgedCat  [developer] Aug 30, 2013 @ 3:13am
Yes, if you create your own map and save it to 'Levels' directory of the game's Steam install (it should default to that location) then you'll be able to load it in the game and record solutions at any help points in the level.

I had 100% achievements...
And now you add a Windows-only achievement. Not so cool.
Zhuinden Aug 30, 2013 @ 5:39am
If you really desperately want 100% achievement, you can use a windows emulator, or run an actual virtual machine in VMWare Player. It can be set up in the background without barely any interaction in about 20-25 minutes... -.-

It's a Windows app, written in C#, my guess is using Windows Forms. That's not exactly simple to port over to cross-platform nonsense, not to mention I've tried getting wxWidgets to life the other day, but couldn't get it done in about 2 hours. I'm not surprised it's Windows-only - and don't forget, it's Smudged's kindness in the first place that got us the Editor, a result of fan request. So, stop being so butthurt about it, it's slightly irritating.

If you're really that desperate just to bag the achievement you can download this map - Stick it in the Levels directory of the Gateways install so you can load it in the game. All it contains is a help point so you can just record something and get the achievement.

This will do. Thanks a lot!

By the way, I meant no offense. I do appreciate the effort to keep the game cross-platform and wish the developer all the best.
