ps4 controller support
ohai,

can we get ps4 controller support for this game? i'm on linux and it connects just like that, but i can't aim the gateway gun and the buttons are otherwise not very helpful. Here's the mapping:

Axis 0 and 1 are X and Y of left stick
Axis 2 and 5 (i know, right?) are X and Y of the right stick
Axis 3 and 4 are left and right trigger, they start out at -32767 and go to 32767 when fully depressed. (that's also the range of the other axis)
6 and 7 are X and Y of the direction buttons

Buttons:
0-3 are square, cross, circle, triangle
4,5 are left bumber, right bumber
6, 7 are button-versions of the left and right trigger
8, 9 is share and options
10, 11 are the analog stick buttons
12 is the PS button
13 is the touch pad click

Thank you!

PS, jstest outputs these infos, you may be able to get the same data from some API to verify it's a PS4 controller:

Joystick (Sony Computer Entertainment Wireless Controller) has 8 axes (X, Y, Z, Rx, Ry, Rz, Hat0X, Hat0Y)
and 14 buttons (BtnX, BtnY, BtnZ, BtnTL, BtnTR, BtnTL2, BtnTR2, BtnSelect, BtnStart, BtnMode, BtnThumbL, BtnThumbR, ?, ?).

For ps4 controllers, you can use ds4drv:
https://github.com/chrippa/ds4drv

There is a "--emulate-xpad" option, which makes it work like a wired 360 controller. This works fine in most games.
