i didnt find it was badly optimised running fully maxed at 1080p i5 3570k4.2ghz and gtx 580 never dipped below 170 fps.i just found it horrible to play lol

There's a loading bug which makes it take multiple minutes, no FOV slider, no way to turn off graphic options, combat / movement is clunky as hell.

Game seems fine to me, only bug i've seen is a npc clipping through the floor,The default FOV is fine you wana play like a damn 'fish' go play old quake arena, also there is no 'loading' issues thats your RAM/HDD upgrade your comp. If anything the combat seems MORE fluent and less laggy than the first game. The only thing I have against this one is the only thing I had against the first one which is horrible car controls

The first dead island was amazingly fun I look forward to this one.

I was playing with my 2 friends and one of them got the bug. If you don't believe it I guess you could look it up. And for the FOV it's unplayable to even have it at 60.5 as a default.

Lol, how is it "unplayable" because your screen dosent look like your a ♥♥♥♥ fish? honestly you dont need that super high fov, it's just irritating as sht. 95% of comp games run at 65 FOV anyways.

A lot of people get headaches from playing with a FOV that is too low. To put it below 70 and then not have an option to change it is ridiculous.

Never heard anyone complain about 'defualt' fov for games (65) to the point where they don't want to play it, pretty amazing that they would get "HEADACHES" funny that it's appearntly so horrible at 65 that almost every game ships that way? Must not be that annoying to the majority if so many games infact do ship that way....or else they wouldn't do it. I don't recall many games that even let you change it, most of the time you would have to edit a cfg file. or get a 3rd party program.

You never heard anyone complain about the FOV? You should try reading comments / watching videos about the game. Also, a lot of games have FOV sliders, you should try to look into it :)

Actually you should try to loosen up a little, Running at 65 FOV isn't even close to a good enough excuse to "not be able to play a game" That's just absurd and ridiculously picky, and believe me I do plenty of reading forums for every game I play. I know what the general word is that's going around my games. And this is coming from 80hr/s week gaming.
