I've never played a game so glitchy. This is almost unplayable. I was trying to play coop with my brother and either he gets stuck and I cant see him moving or anything. Or the game just crashes on me and I have to start it up again. I seriously want a refund. How could they release a game plauged with so many problems?

I'm not experiencing the problems you are.

I think this game is not as bad as everybody says, and worth buying in a discounted price.

Havent played in multiplayer mode yet, so can't speak for that... but for normal single player mode, I play it on 2 different computers and 2 different OS with varied settings for graphics, and no problems or glitches that I can see
Tisis SUPER game!

All the problems encountered are from when i am playing co op. not single player. And if i knew this would have happened I wouldnt have bought the game. I only planned to play this co op not single player.I have not gone 10 minutes without the game crashing or glitching.

I'm sorry to say this but it might be from your side.
I don't have any problems and neither does my friend that I play with.
Games runs fine. No problems at all.... Once in a while a zombie ragdoll will act funny... Not game breaking....

It's your PC or your brother. Mostly your PC.

What is the PC type and model? (For example Dell Inspiron 1545?)
If custom build what is the CPU and motherboard type/mode?
How much ram do you have?

What operating system (OS) are your running? (Windows XP; Vista; Win 7; Win 8)?
What other software do you have? Anti-virus, etc
Is the video and sound drivers update-to-date?

Okay MadCat that is pure malarkey. It is not his computer. This game is completely broken. This is common knowledge. I have tried Riptide out on multiple machines, and it is unplayable. I can't even get decent frame rates on a brand new i7 Haswell & GTX 770M setup with 8 GB of RAM. Its the game.

I seen high-end computer brought to their knees because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ software that comes with computer. (talking about HP & dell♥♥♥♥♥♥. Bad OS like Vista cause probelm. Slow hard drives. Virus, etc ETC ETC.

My setup is low-mid end gaming computer.

ATI Radeon HD 5670
Intel Core 2 Due E6550
Two different hard drive one for OS and another steam.

OS: Win 7 64-bit

Software running at startup/Services: Video drivers/etc; CrashPlan; Microsoft Security Essentials; MalwareBytes; Steam; Spybot - S&D.

It's not broken. I have 2nd gen i5 and a 670 GTX and I'm running at 1440p with zero issues. I was also able to play the original Dead Island with no issues after the patch.

cpu -i7 3770k
16gb 1866 ddr3 ram
gtx 670 2gb(was running sli had same problems) now im using single.
windows 8 64bit

My cousin has the game and run into the same issues when we play coop. so coinsidence that its both our computers and not the game? funny how we had issues playing the origonal dead rising on xbox where when entering a room one of the 3-4 players would freeze randomly. reason why we stopped playing.

now when we play riptide. Either the game crashes out of nowhere. Or His model would be stuck in one spot not moving but on his end he everthing will be fine. and vice versa.

I also have fraps running and the game runs at over 100 FPS with max settings and still moves choppy.
