strange problem

the game starts out fine and works like a charm, until it says "press any button to continue." I press all the buttons on my keyboard, but nothing happens, can anybody help me with this?

I have the same problem now. After installing the game i was able to play one time. Next time i tried to play nothing happened after pushing buttons. I waited for one day and was able to play again. This was yesterday. And now, today the game stops with the text "Press any button...". I wonder if there are more people with similar problem.

I noticed that when you minimize the game, go to the desktop, and then back to game, the error disappear. It started after some modifications on the configurations, most visuals, when the game asked to be restarted.

That's when mine went, only did it once though been fine so far, cross fingers.

Try this guys, it helps. I did the alterations on the "log" folder, and noticed that the "no button" problem was solved.

This works, easy to do. Have the same problem. I just do the three finger salute (start task manager) then hit cancel. The game now loads on the next mouse or key hit. Sorry, I should have said, hit ctrl, alt, del, at the same time, then just cancel, a little inconvenient, but get is done.
