I actually found this fun in the exact same way as Dead Island.

One thing I am missing though is the resort. That was by far the coolest map in the original Dead Island.

The reason people think sequals are boring is because gamers compare the origional to the sequal, and for the sequal to be exciting, the developers have to outdo themselves repeatedly, but they prefer just "ok" rather than "frickin awesome".

I agree.

RT game play isn't like DI and if it was I'd probably like it more.

RT missed the boat on a number of things the boat being one of the major ones.

RT just isn't that fun and gets boring fast.

Ps, I don't play skyrim and have no inclination to.

I'd enjoy it more if it wasn't so unstable. Have had several crashes resulting in a hard reset of the PC.

So far I'm enjoying it, maybe cause I'm only playing it in co-op with a good mate, but it's still satisfying some cave-man cravings.. lol

well shouldnt a sequel blow its predicessor out of the water. Some companies just see what they did right and are afraid to change to much.
