Secret Files 3

So terrible bad
I just got this in the last 75% deal and I'm happy i only spend 5 euros on it. Actually, i guess this is the most you should pay for only a few hours of gameplay.

If you liked the first two games (like i did!) consider not to play this game. It nearly is insulting how stupid and bad the series has become. The first games were somehow easy (kids) games but they had a decent and entertaining story. The third part, however, is just a random concatenation of ridiculous plot elements. There is no real connection between the things that happen in this game. Image you have multiple game designers and everyone is given one of the following buzzwords:

Kidnapping - archaelogy with radioactive stuff - weird dreams - Archimedes - Leonardo da Vinci - Secret in a painting - The allmighty and eternal number PI - Alcatraz - girly uber h4x0r - aircraft carrier - CERN - underwater city - doomsday machine - superhuman beeings.

Then, when everybody invented some story to this stuff, everything is mixed together to a completely implausible plot. Voila: Secret Files 3.

I sadly agree.
When I saw Leonardo da Vinci, I literally facepalm. And really looks like they cut half of the game and tried to make something with what was done.

I liked it, but is half cooked.

They're trying to solve the Fermi Paradox. A poor attempt but nonetheless an attempt to solve one of the greatest paradox in modern cosmology.

Overall I think Secret Files 3 is the best of the three because it introduce a lot of education tidbits. Most people however will miss them tho.

I just started 3 after having finished 1 and 2, hope it doesn't suck that much!

1 and 2 was pretty good, though it suffered from a few grossly unintuitive puzzles.

It's a good game. The developers didn't put enough effort in the story to explain the main plot line. 99.9999999% of the population do not know what Fermi Paradox is. So the player get confused with the plot. If they took time to explain it at the start of the game I think players will understand the story line a lot better.

Fermi Paradox also known as the great silence was first mention 60 years ago by Dr. Enrico Fermi. It is a strong mathematical argument against ETI (Extraterrestrial Intelligence) existence in our Galaxy and probably the universe. Fermi Paradox using statistic stated we are the only living intelligence in our galaxy and probably the universe. Fermi Paradox also stated that life in general is very very rare.

SETI and other scientists rarely mention the strong mathematical against ETI unless they are pressed into it. It the same thing for the Big Bang Theory which has hundred if not thousands of paradoxes some of which break fundamental physical laws we know off.
