New Player Here. What I think about GMS Maplestory

I played Maplestory back in the days where Pirate is a new thing and Pink Bean takes 50 players (in the least) to take down.

So I came back to Maplestory as unfunded Gunslinger in Windia. Currently level 67 and the name's cyncynshop. Here to make some friends, and perhaps join a guild. I basically played singleplayer from level 1~67 and I missed proper party quest a lot TAT.

Thoughts.
Remember the time where you have to compete in clicking competition in Kerning City? Naw...not anymore, that barrel minigame is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aynway, I don't miss it too much. Remember when party quest's the only way for you to receive good prizes and exp? Noooppe, there's no one there in Channel 1, and as I find out in guides, grinding's waaay faster. HOWEVER, the new quest line's fun. One's about fairies, parallel school universe, and Global Warming caused by magic. It's fun! One mistake I made is that I made my character the burning character. I have to go back to do under-leveled quest because I was leveling too fast, I missed out on a lot of prizes.

About Pirate.
I done some research before I jump back in. Gunslinger's not really unfunded friendly from the start due to that they have really low hp. Now they lost the boat which is one of the best things about Corsairs. (In my opinion) It's a pretty hard choice to choose Pirate. Back then I once promised my friend that she will be buccaneer and I'll be Corsair but I chooses Thief instead cause I forgot about it. So this time when I return to Maplestory, I have to choose a Pirate gunslinger. So here I am...

Hey I am trying out this game as a FF XIV/ WoW player looking for new adventures. And cuz it looked cute. Didn't realize about the many years of availability because? I don't know.
