I'm thinking about diving back into maplestory again. Which NA server is currently the best right now? Also, which class is underrated? Anyone interested to play with me?

Well, reboot and scania are the most populated one, there are quite a few underrated classes, such as:
- Jett (great mobbing, but overall it has been at the bottom of the dps chart since it came out)
- Beast tamer (Same as above, but at least has a unique play style)
- Mihile (Extremely tanky but lackluster dps)
- Mechanic (Pretty good overall, but drinks MP pots like water at 4th job)
- Marksman (4th job is quite bad, they get a huge dps increase at 5h job tho)
- Corsair (Summon based, not so bad at 4th job, 5th job is when they become a map clearing beast)
- Blaze wizard (Quite infamous for being the job the botters use, but it's pretty good mobbing and has MP sustain)
- Phantom (Extremely hard to fund, this is what makes it somewhat unpopular, funded they're some of the best bossers all around)
- Blaster (The best job in terms of dps, however is based around animation canceling, also it's skills animations can get to be dull)
Those are what i see as "underrated" i've played most of them and they're nice.

I checked the reboot server, they said its different than the usual server. Are those still viable? Issit still possible to transfer character? Im reinstalling right now

Reboot is pretty different, x5 meso rate, around x2 exp rate, you can't trade, you can't scroll items (you can use starforce enhancement, which is done with meso), enemies have tons more of hp, drop rate for bosses is higher, cubes and all that kind of stuff are bought purely with meso (Nx is only for cosmetic purpose, as it was originally), it is a server focused on heavy meso farm (you can't transfer equips via storage, only mesos and usable items), i'll recommend some jobs, both from the list and some other that are good for starters imo:
-Cygnus knights, any of them is nice, but mostly dawn warrior and blaze wizard (they don't require mastery books, saving you a lot of trouble).
-The resistance but mostly blaster and battle mage (top dps classes, and both are very fun simply not used a lot because they're lackluster at farming)
-Night lord, it has a mobbing skill that increases exp and drop by 20% (it can be increased to 30% i believe, with hyper skills)
-Kanna, the best mobbing job there is, and it's a MUST for reboot.
-Dark knight and hero (from the explorer warrior paths)
-Aran
-Shade
-Luminous (fairly weak, but mobbing is pretty good 4th job)
-Demon (either slayer or avenger, both require litte to no pots and are strong at both mobbing and bossing)

Those jobs are good to start with.
