Gamespy ID require for map creation

Used to play this game a while back, was good for killing time. I acknowledge that gamespy is shut down, but it is requesting that I sign in to do map creation. I don't care if there is no online multiplayer features anymore, but I would like to know if there is a work around that will allow for the use of the map creation without having to sign in with a gamespy id and email. Thanks.
