Windowed mode? Resolution?

Is it possible to get this game working in windowed mode?
Is it possible to change the resolution?

The only solution I found to get the game working in windowed mode is via the external program D3DWindower.

I am sorry sasha_kera, but I do not have the game and D3DWindower installed at the moment.
This is what the forum says:
add with +, click exe in the window, then click on the now possible monitor icon (third from left) - program starts in window mode!

in case of problems copy the files of the D3D-Windower into the path of the starting exe.

I bought the JA2 classic DLC. (Wildfire has some dumb bugs or features like a few NPCs being part of kingpin faction, meaning if you piss off kingpin you can't get guns from Tony. Who cares about the new guns and mercs when 1.13 mod includes them by default?) Copy pasted the JA2 folder onto my base hard drive folder (NOT in program files)

I installed JA2 1.13. (Experimental Build and not the old ass stable release as it's both sorely lacking features and so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ old it has a few bugs that were fixed in the experimental "unstable" release. Why fart around with a build several years old?)

Make sure to sort by last modified once you enter the SCI folder so you get the lastest one (ATM for some reason the april 1st build is showing above the april 15th build which is obviously the latest,)

SCI_JA2v1.13_Revision_8555_on_GameDir_2420.7z is the latest build I can find as of 4/29/18

Using the ini editor I was able to set windowed mode. MAKE SURE TO DISABLE THE INTRO. You should also right click on JA2 and set it to reduced 16bit color palatte under compatability so it'll launch (I don't notice much of a difference tbh if any. JA2 is so old I don't know if it even takes advantage of 32bit color in the first place)

You can then run it in windowed mode. I noticed a few issues like screen jitter when holding alt an aiming at an enemy to view his equipment (I brought it up on the forum so they can look into it) or the screen sometimes autoscrolling when using the cover overlay thingie for some reason but it is otherwise playable and alt tabbable so you can look at those hotkeys and new features from 1.13.
