Is story the same as in JA2?

Could someone please tell if the main story is the same as in Jagged Alliance 2 (i. e., with Deidranna) or is it something different?

Thanks. But it looks really different from original JA2. They don't mention Enrico or Deidranna in this description (these 2 are the main NPCs in the game after all), also now it's about drug export. So it looks quite different to me (except maybe the setting).

Yes the description is completely different. It's the reason why I bought it, I didn't look any deeper and just assumed it had a new plot. But right off the bat, I'm being hired by Enrico Chivaldori to contact Miguel Cordona in Omerta. Then there is a cut scene after liberating Omerta of Deidranna smacking her assistant around when he informs her a patrol was wiped out by a mysterious force. Exactly as I remember the original game starting out.
