8th cube
You require 7 cubes to enter the last Tomb, but where does the 8th cube in the strange cave that requires you to read (gaining the ability to read from the north golem) in order to open?

Here's a guide about getting the cubes made by someone in the community.

I see you posted a question in that guide. All the cubes need to be placed in a door that is in the desert area that opens up after defeating the huge walking titan. There's a door similar to the one that you gain access to with the reading power (the one at endworld), but this one has slots for all 8 cubes. There is no difference between the cubes, they all have to be placed in the slots of this door.

Right, let me get this one straight: I have opened the last tomb in the desert, (raided it, defeated the restorers that had a beef with me for some reason) and then I entered the last tomb in the end world by reading the rock next to it and found the 8th cube inside...Are you saying there is a third door with 8 cube slots?

No, no... if you did all that, then you're done. There's nothing else to do in those caves. You're telling me you were able to open the original door and have one cube to spare? That would be a bug (All 8 are required to enter).

Funky, cause I opened the one in the desert before opening the one in the end world, I remember there are bars where I could see a closed clam so I looked everywhere in the tomb to find it but I never did until I went to the last tomb in the endworld. That cave in the endworld has got a cubekey in it right? I am quite sure that i saw one in there.

Yes, the cave in Endworld has a cubekey, so opening the desert door shouldn't be possible without it.

I was wondering the same thing. I placed 5 cubes, went and found 2 more, then entered the Final Tomb. This was all before I entered Golem's throne room.
So I was also confused as to why there was an 8th cube after going in the side with that needs to be read. Played on PS3, if it matters.
