How exactly do the levels work vs. open world?
Will I need to move to level 2, etc to access different parts of the world or can I explore everything in level 1 or what?

Also, while I'm asking; what do the butterflies, etc you can find do?

it pays to revisit some levels after you have acquired more items. it's not very extensive so don't think you are going way out of your way.

butterflies are for a little quest. You must found "someone" in a house, into the first level (out of the bar, of course).

Close of the prison, there is a "enter/exit zone" circle in front of a house.
