Thank you (to the devs); buy this innovative and fun title (to the peeps)

I'm not sure how the game sold. For what it's worth, I wanted to say "thank you" to the developers and artists who made this game. It was amazing, surreal, and an experience I won't forget.

Whatever it sold, I know it didn't sell enough. The video game market is all but ruined by FPS clone after clone. Played this game... THEN looked at reviews. Dipsh!ts, each and every one of them. While this game wasn't perfect, you did something with it that was unexpected, fun and with an amazing, amazing story to boot.

I also wanted to comment that I loved the first game... and this game... well, I didn't know it was released! I ended up getting it as a gift from someone who knew how much I enjoyed the first Zeno Clash and I finally got around to playing it. So, belated "thanks!"

A definite shout-out to the devs for trying something decidedly "different" in a market full of "me-too" clones chasing (often unsuccessfully) after the last big blockbuster title. The world, the art, the story and characters... it's refreshing and weird and interesting. Even if the gameplay itself can be an exercise in frustration at times, Zeno Clash 1 & 2 will hold a fondly remembered spot on my games list.

True that, but the market may kill that little hope. With all the ♥♥♥♥ that EA and Ubisoft pull, kids keep shoveling money to them. Indie gaming devs deserve the praise they get, but even more than praise, they deserve sales.

I'm 30. When I was a kid, I remember how niche gamers / games were. I used to wish that gaming would go "mainstream." Now that it has, I wish the unwashed masses never touched it.

Our mission with both ZC games was always to break away from the mold that FPS games have become, and because of that our game is not very mainstream. It is a pity a big part of the press didn't get the game when it was released, but in the end our titles are for the people and the response of gamers has been overwhelmingly positive. Both Zeno Clash titles really captivated me. The writing and the art direction are fresh and head-turning and the game's execution done well.

Consider me a release date customer for life. Just don't sneak your titles out anymore.

Couldnt agree more, it is a surreal experience. I've never played a game like this in all my life and I've replayed it like 3 times in a row. The world is so cool! If you guys work on Zeno Clash 3 I will so buy it. Ha, ha! Hopefully you guys make all kinds of cool games because gamers are hungry for something new and innovative. Thanks alot!
