How can you mess up the controls in a simple game like this is beyond me. How the hell do I close the dialog spash screen using game pad? Sometime I'm able to do it sometime it never work. Voodo magic IMO.

You should be able to press down on the control pad to close a dialogue box (just like pressing down on the keyboard).

Thanks, I end up using the keyboard to beat the game. Game pad control is less than desirable, however the game mechanic/story is really good. You don't see this type of game often.

I think by giving the player the choice to judge the character accomplish the physiological aspect of the game. I didn't realize this until the end of the game with the choice of walking out the door or committing suicide.

The game isn't for everybody but if you like point and click adventure games you probably like Home. I recommend it tho.

I had this same problem the entire game. very difficult to get the to the next screen of text with the 360 controller. Additionally it sometimes skips 2 pages of text, it did this at the end and i had no idea what had happened in the basement. completely ruined the conclusion of the game for me.

is it really so hard to just use the A button to do this? and why is it that it's allowed to skip two pages at once? A short delay in between would be nice. I can't really say i'd play the game again anyway though.

I just played through the game for the first time, and I missed several important moments for this same reason. Really interesting game. Really frustrating...

Seconded. The down movement on the 360 controllers can sometimes be registered multiple times in the game, leading to skipped text.

Yep, same problem. I don't like to control character with arrow keys on a keyboard, but when playing with Xbox controller it's almost impossible to use dialog box, so I had to switch to keyboard to read those. Please fix it, it's the only disappointment, the game itself is a masterpiece, I really enjoyed it :)

wow.. this is an old issue.. and I'm experiencing it.. sheesh.. ever going to get fixed.. thankfully I got this for a few pennies.

Same problem. Thanks for not fixing it. Pressing down on controller does not work ... or sometimes work.
