Ending.

My ending was weird, basically, Rachel was cheating on me with Norm, Rachel was going to tell me and Norm killed her. I had a sleepwalking problem but that didnt seem to result in anything, just that I left my various IDs around.

I'm unsure who did all the killings, or who kept going back to the factory. Basically there is a bunch of stuff unexplained.

What was your ending? Why was mine so weird haha.

I chose not to find Rachel in the basement and as it turns out everything was dreamed up by my character.... I looked at a few things and chose that the old man murdered his wife, but after touching the safe and typing in a random number a cat sound appeared and the credits rolled, leaving me with any unfinished action and unanswered question still unfinished and unanswered.

I can just ignore the linearity of the game and that there are even a lot of typos in some text boxes (in a game that focuses so much on text), but the glitched ending (at least it seems like nothing intentional) made me a bit sad. Well in a sense one could argue that was one weird ending.

I had that same cat noise when trying to open the safe, and it teleported me back to the sewers at the begining of the game. ajkhsadduiasiawejk I'm not gonna spend anought 45 mins screwing around just to get glitched again.

Got the same issue, cat noise and ending credits rolling. Really pissed me off. I would have at least liked a chance to complete all stuff that was still to do in the house.
Also, even if intentional, its just plain stupid.
What I'm wondering is that I don't see anyone else complaining about this... I mean the game is not that good that you would look over something like this just because it's so fantastic.

Were you using the current v1.4.4 release of the game when you received this error? When you heard the cat sound and were "teleported," did you see a version number in the lower-left corner of your screen (e.g. "v1.4.4")?
