good short game
I felt like chiming in amongst the complaints about this game.

Home is a $3, 60-90minute, fun horror game. It's simplistic game style and its art is purposeful and adds to the overall feeling of the game. You don't know what has happened, you're alone, you're trying to find your wife, and you have large amounts of memory loss.

The game is an interactive story. It is not fast paced, it is casual, and it is more about the artistic choices of the game and experiencing the plot than being challenged. The game is meant to make you think about the plot and feel the confusion the character does - and it does a fairly good job at this.

There are many movies out there that cost 3-4x more to see once, cost millions of dollars to make, and make millions in ticket sales and they are complete garbage compared to this game (and in general). Home is not amazing, it's not brilliant, but it does what it sets out to do and does it fairly well and to own it for $3 (or less when on sale!) is a great deal. If you like indie, casual, and/or horror games I definitely recommend it.

Nice review. I enjoyed the game and definitely got my $1.49 (Winter sale) out of it. I'll probably play the game again at some point and make some different choices.
