More variety please.
I feel like the game really presses you into certain interpretations of the events. I played through the game twice and really tried to interpret things differently the second playthru, but I really had to actually ignore things I read or just lie to myself in order to keep my other opinion a valid one. Maybe change the shown texts more depending on decisions a player makes or something...

I don't understand - if you don't read things or you ignore certain items, then the game changes pretty drastically. There's no "forced interpretation" as the player's interpretation of events is the only interpretation.
I dont know, i feel like every item you take, read or whatever pushes you more into the direction of you beeing the bad guy here... ok maybe not reading anything rushing through to the end is an option...
A lot of it comes down to your approach as well. It may help to develop an "character" to your playthrough beforehand. For instance, late one night I noticed that the main guy kinda looks like David Tennant, so I ran a playthough pretending I was The Doctor. No weapons, try to help, etc...

That playthough turned out WAAAYYYYYYY differently then any of my other ones had, and I saw a few bits I hadn't encountered before. It was still a fairly "complete" playthrough, interacting with stuff wise (order matters), but the story took on a much more benign, sorrowful, something terrible happend but I'm too late to stop it tone. Less Hamlet, more The Mist.
