Get to the Chopper - Update
This patch contains the game mode called "Get to the Chopper." With the mode it includes two maps. A completely new map called GTC-Downpour, and a rework of the popular map Docks, called GTC-Docks. "Get to the Chopper" is a get form point A to B game mode. With small objectives inbetween the start and end. Along with the new mod and maps, there are many balance, optimizations, reworks, and changes. Enjoy.

General:

- Optimizations made to all maps
- Rain amount attached to the texture option
- Lots of tweaks to TDM maps
- Walking backwards bug fixed
- All maps have class based spawns for Dinos
- Dilo/ptera roar have 10 second cooldown
- Dilo spit does not prevent sprinting
- Ptera's carrying stamina increased, max 10 seconds
- Removed christmas hats
- Screenshot key removed, was C
- Class counts added to class selection screen
- Pyro grenade travels faster, smaller blast radius, and increased gravity
- Pyro flames complete rework
- Hit indicators added
- Chainsaw has a heating system
- Autobalance should happen every minute instead of when someone leaves
- Can now reload while sprinting

Wooo, and agreed not sure about the dilo/ptero nerf.

Also, now that I've downloaded it, just like the last patch -- it reset my graphics settings entirely. Just FYI.

I was hoping for some get to the chopper achievements, but sounds fun.

Maybe in a future update. This is still our "beta" release of the mode. It has some kinks that need to be worked out.

It seems there's some issues with human spawning on ForestChasm Deathmatch.
The dilo spit still goes funky when you have colour correction turned on as well.

So wait, what about the new spinosaurus? I liked his roar from the promotional video you had of your engine :c The one where t-rex and spino fought

About flippin time. Game is moving much closer to being a real release instead of a beta release.

Indeed, been playing Get to the Chopper lately and i just gotta said that this is what Primal Carnage should have been from the beginning, now the game feels like it has a point and it fits perfectly with the game´s theme and classes, i recommend getting this game to anybody who likes team oriented gameplay, still needs some minor bug fixing, but overall great job.

Did you guys change the duration of the blindess from dilos? They go away after only two secs or so now. I no longer see the point of blinding people when the danger passes too quickly. Sure they're annoying, as many people have stated, but in truth they were a legitimate threat and were a very good support class for the team. Some people consider them an OP class, but I noticed in many games that people often don't play dilos anyway. I mostly see raptors and Pteranodons when I play. Carnos and dilos are the two most unpopular dino classes. I am probably in the minority though. I liked the way they were before. I'd rather prefer a cooldown between spits instead of lowering time it takes for the spit to go away.

Meh, I used to main dilos but I guess I'll main carnos from now on.

Ideally the dilo spit cooldown is lengthy, but the vision disable would last as long as the previous version or longer. To encourage proper dilo play where they hide and fire ranged disabling venom shots. Rather than the annoying spamming dilo stuff that most people did last patch.

I don't know if the adjustments will do anything to stop people spamming, if anything it practically encourages it.

Anyway, happy about this update being released :) Will give it a good play later when it gets downloaded.

Wow 1,2 Gigs Update, that's a lot. Well, let's see if it'll bring me to play the game some more again.

However, I'd like to appreciate that the devs behind this are present here as well and care for their game :)

Thumbs up for that for sure!

And now imagine a whole team playing with them...no human ever again can see anything.

It's good that the pyro nates aren't so strong anymore!
