Fixes for 64-bit non-Ubuntu Linux users
Getting this game running was a bit of a hassle for me (Gentoo AMD64), but in the end it was worth playing. To save others the same pain, I present the following, cobbled together from various other discussions on this forum:

Link to BoUT Fixes.tz.bz2 on Google Drive

This archive contains a set of fixes for the Linux Steam edition of The Book of Unwritten Tales.

Fixes:
1:Replaces bout.sh with a version that skips the dpkg-based dependency checks to allow a non-debian based system to launch the game from within Steam

2:Adds a 32-bit libjasper to allow the game to run on a 64-bit system

3:Replaces the provided RenderSystem_GL.so with a version that will not crash the game when "Settings" is selected from the menu.

The intended audience is a Gentoo AMD64 user.

Usage: Extract the archive from your Steam directory, preserving paths. It will add 2 files and overwrite 2 files in the BoUT directory tree.
