don't listen to the naysayers, get this game
Intrusion 2 is great. I would compare it to the classic contra's. awesome experience. There is a old flash game, but this is the sequal, and worth getting, especially on the sale right now. It may be short, but so is call of duty and people pay $60 for that(I would say I have had more fun with this then the more recent COD's) . Classic, old school, pretty difficult. Stop whining and play better

I added it to my wishlist the day it was released because it reminded me so much of metal slug, just picked it up, looks cool.

Never played metal slug but just got this game because it was on sale. Pretty fun but the controls are a bit annoying, especially on the wolf.

Was using the controller, maybe I'll try the keyboard/mouse next time

Beat Intrusion 2 and it is one of the best experiences I had in games all year. Seven solid hours and I would have paid more. Great AI, Intelligent use of physics, beautiful sprites and challenging as a mug! This game should blow up more and I am going to plug it every chance I get. Big up to the developers.

I'm enjoying it so far but the controls, specifically jumping (at least using a gamepad) are very fussy, it seems you have to stop moving to jump, which is a shame because otherwise this is a lot of fun.

haven't tried it with a gamepad, and yes the wolf is a bit wonky, but overall worth th purchase, especially when its on sale

That is becuase you have X and up on the pad to jump, if you press up and x it will not work. unbind one.

I don't know why the people complain so much about the controls. I am using keyboard and mouse and had no problems at all, not even with the wolf. If you figure out how, you can move with him no problem.
Awesome game!

The controls are indeed fine, I can jump, shoot and ride the wolf how I want and it never bugs out on me. The problem like I said is that you have 2 things bound to jump, if you use them both at the same time then you will not jump, unbind one.

I grabbed Intrusion 2 the instant I heard it was on Steam. I played the first on Kongregate, loved, but that was about a year or two back, so I'm elated, the difficulty, it IS slightly difficult, but I like that, I feel not enough games these days are difficult.

I agree with the control problems. Using a 360 controller, pressing Up to jump is super finnicky, accidentally triggering ALL THE TIME. I unbinded it, and mapped LB to be jump instead. SO much easier to control. The wolf is still a little weird, but overall this game is a blast.
