Wait a minute...
I'm pretty sure I played this game (or the first version of it) on some game site a long time ago. This seems pretty identical. I suggest not buying it and going and looking up "Intrusion flash game". You'll probably get the same experience. Also, go look at "Commando, Commando 2, and the other Commando flash games.

So what?
Gordonsnake 2000 15 Wrz, 2012 - 11:45
No you wont get the same experience because this is 100000000% more epic and better. The gameplay's completely diferent and has even more action and phisics in it ! Also you will never see bosses this way !!

Intrusion 1 was a game on Kongregate a while back. This is the sequel and has many improvements.

I do realize that this is a new version, but I also think that the old version would be just as great (given that I haven't bought the new version) and it isn't worth spending money on a new version. Just voicing my opinion, that's all.

You're voicing a completely uninformed opinion? How very helpful of you...

Intrusion 2 is on Bubblebox.com

Intrustion 2 is like the second coming of metal slug whereas Intrusion 1 is like a fan-hack of Contra with physics.

They don't even begin to compare. This game is a must-buy for anyone with even a passing interest in the genre.

1 Guy made this game. Think he is entitled to get a few bucks. So keep your opinion to yourself. Unless you can slam out something better, and want NO money.

Well, suit yourself. I just put thi on the forum to put out my opinion, not to slam anyone. That's all. So, if you're offended, well sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it. It's just that my opinion differs from yours.

You suggest NOT to buy a MASTERPIECE made by one single genius who probably worked unpayed for years to develop this, because time ago, the same genius did another good game and release it free? Not good idea to me.

To all other guys. Do yourself a favour, buy this incredible game.

The problem with opinions is that they can be uninformed, which seems to be exactly the case here. I recommend you play a bit of the original freeware Intrusion, then install the steam DEMO for Intrusion 2 and try that.

WELL NOW YOU'RE JUST OVERSELLING IT!
I like this game, I like this game a lot. I very much respect Aleksey Abramenko who labored on it for three years straight, only the soundtrack was composed by another person -- George Dziov's Android.
But I feel that inflating expectations is not going to help anyone!

Is it a product of genus? Probably not. A product of love, talent and significant effort? Very much so!
Gordonsnake 2000 20 Wrz, 2012 - 14:01
I dont think he was overselling it because 1:ONE MAN DID THIS. and 2: Its just an oppinion , i can immagine that a bunch of people think its good and another bunch of people think its GREAT and i respect boulth as long as they dont say its complete crap dont buy it. And i really hope the guy who did this gets his moneys worth for all of his hard work.

Uh, I sometimes forget that it's impossible to make everyone like what you like and fear of colouring peoples opinions or reinforcing preconceptions gets the better of me.

As for the one man team thing, I would not judge this game any differently if it was made buy a group of people rather than a single individual.
Q. 21 Wrz, 2012 - 18:52
In retrospect I find it kind of funny how I simply commented that this game existed elsewhere (that being the first version) and was just pondering as to why it was being sold for money and the fact that many other game that will most likely create the same experience. Then the whole thread turned into a hate/critic thread where everyone was trying to correct my opinion (or form it to be identical to their own). I don't hate the creator for making it. I think it's great that he put the effort into improving the original game and created a game that has actually sold and gotten some recognition. As a final note: I did not know that this game was made by one man and I don't hold any prejudice games. I don't know if any the games I own are made by one man teams (although I'm sure some of them are) and as a matter of fact, I don't care how many people made them, I just care about the experience provided.
