...and?
stuff 24 Şub 2013 @ 6:26am
Flash has various problems under Linux like lagging sound, bad performance and some other bugs (in this game for example the mouse cursor overlaps the ingame cursor). Also (but this probably affects all users) there is no gamepad support and you can not use right mouse click.
Finally Flash support for Linux has been abandoned by Adobe, so no more updates and thus these bugs won't be fixed.
The game runs under Linux and I bought it, but had I known it's Flash I would not have bought it...

Idem ditto ... good thing it was cheap.
Imho, this shouldn't be sold like this.

Whew, was about to buy this, too. Thanks for the heads up. I've already had enough bad experiences being sold broken games for a quick buck by devs.

Knew it was flash when I bought it. Did not regret. For a flash game it runs VERY well. No lag or issues at all!

Don't get me wrong, the game is fun. But I encountered the following problems:
- Sound is delayed about 1/2 second (can be fixed, but I had to search a lot...)
- Mouse cursor overlaps ingame cursor (annoying, but not such big of an issue)
- Achievements don't work for me (fortunately I don't care for them, but I guess a lot of people do). Perhaps it has to do because I had to rename the executable in order to fix the sound delay
- Right-click results in the game not responding to anything
- Game runs okay, but scrolling feels like 15 FPS, after playing some time, I get a little bit headache. Yes my PC has enough power...
- Finally this game was advertized having full controller support. But it doesn't even recognize my controller.

Fortunately it was cheap and that's the reason I bought it. But these problems hurt this otherwise good game a lot.
And all flash games I own cause problems. Some more, some less. So for me I will avoid flash as far as it's possible - and I did not know this was a flash game - perhaps I missed something in the description, don't know. And this thread is thought as a warning for all other users that also made bad experiences with flash and want to avoid it.

Yep, this game has definite problems on Linux. I can't even get it to launch on Ubuntu 12.04. Thankfully, I can play this on my Windows machine, so no big deal.

Tried the demo version embedded on Intrusion 2 website with my Debian GNU/Linux 6, 32-bit, P4 2.8 GHz, 1 GB of RAM. Some slowdowns, but this is normal with my machine. With a two-cores CPU and 2 GB it should be totally fine.

Maybe you should try the demo version before purchasing as well?
stuff 7 Mar 2013 @ 4:31am
Yeah should have tried the demo first. But the game looked like a lot of fun and was cheap (sale). And to be honest, I only learned there was a demo after I puchased it :)
Actually I don't regret buying it, despite the bugs I had fun. I only said, I would not have bought it, if I had known it was flash (I don't think this is gramatically correct ;))
But now as I bought it, I can't change it and I think it was worth the money. But it could have been a lot better.
This thread is for people, who don't know it's flash and might reconsider their purchase.

Bottom Line: Please Devs, develop for Linux, that's great. But please don't use Flash in the future.

I too would not have bought this game if I had known it was flash, as the experience I have come to expect from flash is slow as treacle and buggy as hell, and this game is no different.

It's a real shame, as from trying to play it briefly it seems like it would be a great game if flash wasn't killing it.
Zeroedout 11 Mar 2013 @ 6:38pm
Agreed. Game does not recognize my ps3 controller on Linux. Damn shame, cause otherwise I might've even put up with flash. At this point, it's unplayable as advertised. When I get chance I will be demanding a refund or atleast credit on Steam.

That being said, it does look pretty cool for a flash game. But I don't want to spend what little money I have on a dev that's too lazy to learn openGL. Screw flash.

my xbox controller didnt work too, got a refund after contacting steam support
YOBA 21 Mar 2013 @ 9:01pm
Game won't launch. Just broken. I wonder why it's sold as a Linux game at all.
Benjamin 22 Mar 2013 @ 4:53am
Also having the same issues. No controller support, and generally buggy performance.
faust.twi 22 Mar 2013 @ 9:49pm
wow. that sucks...
