XBOX 360 Controller not Working In-Game (Ubuntu 12.10)
My XBOX 360 controller is working fine with Steam and Big Picture mode, but when I start Intrusion 2, only the mouse/keaboard combo seems to work. The Options selection in-game does not give a choice for input device switching. Other games e.g.: Trine 2 work fine with the controller as well. Anyone have the same problem?

The game runs but I cannot get my Xbox 360 controller for PC to work, either. However I do have some issues with my controller and Big Picture mode such as not all buttons are recognized.

Exactly the same problem

And the major factor in purchasing it for me was the "full controller support" to test it out with steam on linux.

Same problem on Mint 13.

Have you tried installing xpad? https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Xbox360Controller

I'm using the xboxdr driver, which works pretty well outside of this game. I can remap buttons perfectly in the steam client. I guess a good question is does anyone have the controller working with this game in linux?

I have a PS3 controller which works perfectly in Big Picture menus (buttons remapped and all). However, in the game, pressing any controller button just causes a crash back to desktop.
Ubuntu 12.04 with qtsixa as the controller manager.

I'm seeing this problem as well - either the controller is not recognized, or pressing any button causes a crash.

I think the issue is that this game is I believe it is an Adobe Flash product in Linux. I'm really not sure what the solution would actually be because I don't know if Flash even has the capability built in with Linux to handle XBOX 360 controllers.

I noticed a problem when I go into options and click the flash button a flash box shows up but I can't click anything after that. You may be correct. I need to restart the computer after the flash options box comes up. sucks.

Trine 2 seems to be the only other Linux game with full controller support but I haven't tried it yet. Hmm.

After configuring my Logitech F310 in steam big picture mode, I got my controller to work in The Cave. This game doesnt work with a controller under my Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit though :(

Having the same problem in Trine 2 under Ubuntu 12.04. Game works fine with keyboard and 'xbox controller' is listed in game as option but none of the buttons are recognized in-game. Really hope they can fix this!!
