I quite like the building browser, as long as it's working; the whole encyclopedia is a bit hit 'n' miss really, but I like the idea of having to put a lot of thought and planning into what and where to build stuff :)

It's basically the same thing we had in Shogun 2 but now it displays 2-4 settlements instead of just 1.

You'll get used to it. Rome/Shogun II's building/province managing UI is actually a lot smoother and easier to use than previous games, but requires more forethought since you're not going to eventually build EVERYTHING in EVERY city anymore.

Just keep in mind that buildings effect the whole province, not just that city. They've basically swapped out cities for provinces when it comes to management, even though you're still dealing with individual cities from a military standpoint.

I didn't play a lot of Shogun II, so I found myself turning Advice back on for the first time since Empire, until I learned the new systems. The Encyclopedia can also be handy (though not always as handy as I'd like).

There's always one to spoil it, isn't there?

Just when I was thinking to myself, "How refreshing to be in a TW:R2 thread on here, where everyone posting is trying to help a fellow gamer; no nasties, swearing, tantrums etc".

Then a ♥♥♥♥ called 'CyberInsaneoHD', just had to say something rude and uncalled for to the OP; SHAME ON YOU! Now go and read a comic before bedtime, or it'll be smacked bot-bot for you young man!

LOL.
I agree with That Guy. The building browser is a big step back. It looks ugly and gives little information. Its predecessor was far superior, as in many features.
