Is there a mod that allows auxillary recruitment for other factions?
Pretty straightforward. Instead of swamping my game with unbalanced unit packs, I was just curious if there is a mod that permits recruitment of other units based on conquered lands for other factions, similar to Rome.

:-) I know...but it's the closest thing I can find/think of as to what he's after. I haven't seen or heard of a mod that does what he's requesting

Improved Mercenary Camp is what you're looking for I think, it adds Romes auxillary options to Athens,Bactria,Carthage,Cimmerian,Cyprus,Cyrenaica,Egypt,Eprius,Greek_Miniors*,Macedon,
Massilia,Parthia,Pergamon,Pontus,Seleucids,Seleucid_Greeks*,Syracuse and Sparta.

This is what I was looking for, although I might try the Improved Mercenary Camp mod above, as well, just to see which works and fits best.

I'm more of a roleplaying and immersive type player, not the kind who likes building armies with 19 praetorians. Tried playing some Sparta and damn, their roster is oh-so bland. With Sparta, it's basically: "Hmmm, do I want short spears or long pikes?" The Romans really spoil players with their access to so much variety. Sure, there are mercenaries to hire, but they cost a ridiculous fortune to maintain.

I'm also pretty sure if other empires managed to achieve what Rome did, they, too, would have found ways to incorporate other culture's military tactics into their own military. It would have been necessary. Maybe not to the extent that Rome did, but the prospect of conquering the known world with Sparta's options of short spears vs long spears seems rather dull lol.

Thanks for both suggestions.
