Can't rebind controls
For some reason every time I try to rebind my flight stick controls it insists that the button is already in use, and no change happens. I can't even use the keyboard in conjunction with my flight stick so as to use the rarely-used controls...

Same here. Its really annoying to extend, i can't play game.(IMHO, it was made for joystick)
Is there at least way how to flash all buttons to "NOT SET" state or something?
I don't like default controls.
Forgot to add, I am on Linux Gentoo. AMD64 with Nvidia and Xtreme 3D PRO joystick.
mode: simulation.

Linux localhost 3.9.7 #2 SMP PREEMPT Thu Oct 17 00:00:00 CEST 2013 x86_64 AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

Joystick itself works with no problems.
issue happens every time when i try to assign joystick buttons in the menu.
I reported this a few days ago as well.
Thanks for that.

Hopefully I'll be able to use both keyboard and flight stick in tandem sometime.

Hello. Thank you all for reporting these issues.
The joystick buttons can now be unbound using Backspace key. The field will be blank and only default keyboard binding will be used for that button. This is useful for joysticks with less than 10 buttons, as current system would bind some keys to non-existing buttons. Unbinding joystick buttons also allows you to avoid the "Button already in use" message.
Thanks for that bit of info Brendor!!
Please reconfirm this was implemented; it has no effect for me.
backspace workd for me Arrow, make sure game is up to date.
One button i can't rebnind though. The back shooter.
Hm, I guess I'll try again...
I verified the cache and it's still not doing anything. The keyboard obviously works, too. What are the controls supposed to be set to?
