Crash at watchtower patrol mission!!
Hi,

Am playing now through the japanese campaign, and the watchtower patrol mission you get along with the bombing of darwin causes the game to crash to desktop every time I try to play it.

I searched through the topics here but didnt find any clear soultion. I did try changing the graphical settings but it didnt help.

Anyone knows anything on how to fix this?

When I played that mission you had to skip it .In the forams there is a key code to skip to end of mission.

Hold simultaneously C+O+M keys at once to accomplish the mission

Yeah but the problem is appearing with all the watchtower missions I've seen during my play of the campaign so far. Is there no way to fix it so that I can play the missions?

aaaah, that's surprising and different.

We would fix that instantly if it can be reproduced at any of our computers. But unfortunately it does not reproduce anywhere in our studio, maybe related to something specific which we don't have set anywhere here.

I would suggest to try the following:
1. Try to minimize all the graphics settings in the application settings. If you are able to start the game, try to switch up settings one by one to identify you findings and let us know.
2. If it still does crash even with minimum settings, try to update your drivers to the latest one (you may have the latest one already). Some guys here reported it fixed the issue.
3. Try to turn of all background programs.
4. If that doesn't help, please send us your dxdiag (run dxdiag from the command) and save the results; maybe we can build up some similar machine...

Note: am using a laptop to play this game and its quite old, so far I've had good performance during my play of the japanese campagin but as I mentioned it crashes when I try to play the watchtower missions.

or
....SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Air Conflicts - Pacific Carriers\

And please send us your save file from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Air Conflicts - Pacific Carriers\save\pilots_steam.dta
