I recognise the Qua Trang valley and Khe Sanh. This is going to be great for me. I can`t wait for the release!

Also the Mekong river delta and Cu Chi. Someone has done their homework for sure. You must have a Nam vet on your staff.

I wish we have :). We only work with existing materials available out there, even the existing assets have to be adjusted to improve the game experience... But we do our best to get as close to the reality as possible...

Qua Trang was a village in the La Drang valley where a battle was fought between the NVA and American forces. It was before I was there. Khe
San was an artillary outpost that was overun by Laotion and NVA troops, then re-activated in 1971 to support the south Vietnamese invasion of Laos. I was a radio operator in a B-52 at the time.

as nice as the screenshots look, i can't help but thinking "well, the screenshots to air conflicts pacific carriers looked pretty good, too." And that game I'm sorry to say, was the biggest disappointment in my gaming career since "Battlestations: Pacific" turned the wonderful Battlestations Midsway into crap.

I still cannot complete the torpedo part of the tutorial. The controls are beyond terriible. The aircraft are ridiculously oversized (yes, i know that is common in this kind of game, but here it is extreme). This game, I'm sorry to say, is just awful and I have zero confdence that these developers can do better on a Vietnam title.

Though I hope I'm wrong and they do. I'm not trying to be prejudiced against them, but this title was rubbish--much worse than Damage Inc. or the other pacific title whose name escapes me at the moment.

If the aircraft are too big, you are going too slow, and probably are using the wrong resolution settings. You can also change the POV by pressing C. The aircraft fly with reasonable accuracy, and the controls work fine. Try adjusting your drag coefficents. The default setting works well. We are all having a blast dogfighting online, and cannot wait for this new game! Keep trying, you will pick it up eventually.

cant wait for the new one since it looks like they are never gunna fix pacific carriers which i think is great but no longer has a master server as far as I can tell. What will be really spectacular is when someone creates a game that has the imagery of ace combat assault horizon with the playability of air conflicts.

Other sources say 3rd quarter of this year. Probably come out for pre-sale soon. Waiting.......

More interested in changing the FOV (Field of view, not Point of view) The plane takes up too many screen pixels in both games (1920x1080p 23")
