Hi i am new but has anyone know a good way to learn to script???

Game Maker has plenty of Tutorials coming with and a very well written help file. Might wanna check it out.

The best way is probably to try and master D&D programming first, then tinker around with *simple* GML games and then, with a handy function reference by your side, try and code something from scratch and get help when necessary.

That method is easy, but it's quite a long-turn investment. Otherwise it's probably a good idea to try a tutorial.
