Screen is black

When I try to start up my game, all that comes up is a black screen. I have set the background color to grey, room size to 1920x1080, view in room to 1280x720, Port on screen to 1280x720, object following is set on my character, with the Hbor at 400 and Vbor at 400 as well, and views are enabled. How do I get it so that the camera follows my player?
