Master Collection Upgrade 25th - 31st March $199
The YoYo Games website (http://yoyogames.com/) is a bid for the GameMaker: Studio Master Collection. It can be purchased on the website of yoyogames, but how can you get this offer on Steam?

If you purchase the game (at a discount) through Yoyo games, you can then activate it on steam. Check the link for instructions.

If Steam does not offer a promotion similar to Yoyogames certainly lose many customers.
I will not buy any more GM module on Steam.
I think everyone who bought on Steam should make a protest against the unequal treatment given by the companies.
If we buy the same product, why we treated differently?

This has no sense, as buyers on Yoyo get a free Steam license to active it anyways, but Steam users can't get the standalone version that should be available.
First time Steam dissapoints me.

I have the same problem...

YYG guy says that the promotion is only on YYG website. I hope Steam would offer similar promotion too.

Thanks to my tax return + this deal, just went from free user to Master Collection for $300. Just have to wait 24 hours for my steam key request.

I have contacted both YoYo and Steam about this and their answers were disappointing. YoYo told me that Steam handles their own sales and that I should ask them for discount. When I asked them if I could trade in my Steam version they simply did not reply anymore, even after another (polite) email. I then contacted Steam and their answer was short "Steam does not offer price matching." That was literally all. When I told them that I seriously considered never to buy anything from Steam anymore I got the reply "Please let us know if you encounter any further difficulty - we will be happy to assist you" and then nothing. Like talking to a f*cking machine. I am really disappointed in both YoYo and Steam for how they handled this.

I was thinking about purchasing Android + iOS exports today, and then this promotion lands...

Does anyone tried the solution Manic suggested here?

It sucks big time, I already have HTML5 export on Steam, so it seems I'll have to sit on the bucks I gave to Steam and go for standalone master collection :-(

OK, nevermind, their promotion offer ended waaaaaay sooner than expected. Seriously, it was meant to be through 31 March, and it's already over :( Maybe they talked about australian time.
