Hostile Mode

If you turn on "challenge" in multiplayer, you can hold down the hostile mode button in order to run into players and engage them in combat. Your character will turn red and no longer receive random encounters. The loser of said combat will lose half of their levels and respawn at the beginning of the map. As well, if the opposing player was fighting monsters, you gain the EXP from the monsters they would have killed.
