Half Minute Hero - Installed but dont Work!
Hey i have currently Installed the game, but if i will start it, it will doesnt work.
No new Window, or something!

Directx is installed!

Help pls :<

I'm having the same problem all of a sudden... I just re-installed Windows, Steam, etc... on a new SSD today. As of last week, this game worked fine on my old HHD (installed after Christmas), but I can't get it to launch on my new SSD. All my other games work fine too...

Having the same problem myself.

I first tried loading the game in Windows 7 and Windows XP compatibility mode.

Then I tried to verify the game cache. It found bad files and redownloaded them. Tried to load the game again, still the same problem.

Seems the game is downloading broken files so anyone who recently installed the game won't be able to play it until the files are fixed.

Was trying to play in windows 8.1 with no sucess (black screen at launch), have just installed windows 10 and it now works. So something to do with DirectX 12 I'm guessing

I was in windows 10 and had the problems, got a refund eventually.

i have the same issue. Im on a Win 10 x64 brand new laptop. i7-6500U processor, 8GB Ram and GeForce 940m graphics card. Dunno if that helps, but i hope so.

Had this issue in x64 Windows 10. Had to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) even though we are in 64-bit Windows as the game is a 32-bit application.

Was also having issues there is an old discussion I found that says to install some dll files and a old version of directX 9 however this seems to also be one of those games that has to be installed on your C: drive or else it gives a black screen
