Hey there, Tyler here (Programmer of The Basement Collection), we're gonna be putting out a patch soon and this is what I have planned for it

- Time ♥♥♥♥ ch2 bug fixed
- Triachnid larvae achievement fixed (currently it only unlocks if you get all of them in 1 go right?)
- Unlocks will be saved locally (steam cloud) instead of just based off achievements
- Gonna work on getting some games to save on steam cloud (all games will have to be modified for this to work, I only programmed Aether and AVGM, and have the source of meat boy, so its gonna require some cooperation from other programmers to get this to work, so it might take a while to get all the games working with it. I don't want to reset the current save files when this happens so it might take a while to get everything working here and thus delayed for future passes)
- There's an issue when the game crashes, flash doesn't clean up LocalConnections properly when it crashes, and will throw errors if trying to connect to them again on the next game launch. Quitting all instances of flash player fixes this (including embedded ones for browsers or steam or adobe products), but its still an ugly solution. I'm going to at least let the collection start properly if this happens, with a warning that Meat Boy and Triachnid will not work properly. I'm in contact with adobe about this bug, hopefully it can get fixed in the next version of flash, in the mean time i'm looking for workarounds. The problem is triachnid and meat boy are in AS2 and I can only communicate with them (for achievements and right clicks) through a LocalConnection, so yeah. adobe's fault
- Lag. This won't be fixed this patch. I got into an adobe beta program for something which will help me find some performance problems, but fixes from that will be in a future patch.
- There's gonna be some more bonus content stuff in the game

Np, the patch would have come earlier but I haven't returned from my PAX trip yet and I'm gonna be busy launching another game on steam on friday (Closure), but hopefully the patch should come soon after that

I don't know about you, but I plan on playing through ch2 regardless.

Thanks for all your work on the collection Tyler, I have been avoiding Triachnid due to that particular bug so I am glad to see it get taken care of.

Hey, just 2 problems I've had so far Tyler. I've beaten Coil and the unlockable for completing Coil is not unlocking. There's also I post with a few other people having this same problem. Another thing, I'm not sure if this is just me, but the collection tends to really mess up my typing. It will make words much longer then what I typed, for instance: "Wwwwwwwwwhyyyyyyyyyyyyy." This applies to all the keys on my keyboard. This happens whenever I'm trying to talk via steam chat, or use the steam browser.

besides achvievments not unlocking everything runs fine for me,steam cloud would really do the job i think -nice games btw!

And please don't forget to add an AZERTY keyboard layout support feature, it's getting annoying to have to switch manually when launching the collection...

I came across a Problem too. The Gish-Achievement didn't unlock for me. I've seen a few people with the same problem. Would be nice, if you could check that. But aside that everythings fine for me. And thanks for your work.

Thanks Tyler! I just spent two hours getting all the larvae in triachnid (in one go) and no achievment unlock. When the update comes will I have to do this all over again or will it just automatically unlock?

Hi Tyler! Some people (including me) have experienced some bugs with Enter the Unknown in Time ♥♥♥♥
Basically after a random level we get a black screen and we have to leave the game (and it doesn't save progress). Also sometimes Enter the Unknown doesn't start at all and it stops music from the main menu.

I've been having achievement issues with Meat Boy. Someone else said about the Gish achievement not working (which is also true for myself). On top of that, I've 100% the normal Meat Boy, but that achievement hasn't unlocked, either. (And before, some of the chapter completion achievements were broken, but they've seemed to unlock for me now). And then there's the third Grey Matter points one, and the Triachnid larvae one as you mentioned. These were the only minor gripes I've had with the game besides the lag and no gamepad, but that's Flash's fault. Great collection, and a worthwhile purchase!

Meat boy and triachnid achievements being missed are the local connection bug with flash, until adobe fixes it I'm going to pop up a message letting people know the achievements (and triachnid right click) wont work unless you restart your computer

I have control of meat boy so I'll make it re-unlock achievements at startup so if you missed them it will grab them after a restart

Damn that Adobe! You did a great job btw Tyler, I'm loving the Collection. Looking forward to that bonus content and Closure on Friday as well! Keep it up :D

- I thought the Triachnid acheivement was intentional, haha.
