Game?! DO NOT BUY!
Where was the first person shooter part of the game? I can't believe that I paid $2.49 for this, I can't even imagine how people feel after paying 5 bucks for this so called game. Metascore of 88/100?! Were the reviewers paid to give that score? DO NOT BUY!!!!!

That's what she said...

Eh, it entertained me for the 10 minutes it lasted and I learned something, so I'm not too bummed about it. Plus, that's one less soda I'll be in the coming week. It probably should be noted that it's from the "first-person perspective" and not "shooter" though.

It honestly wasn't deep enough nor entertaining enough for me. Hence why it wasn't worth the money.

Same. It's not often I buy a cheap game and then think, "The pepsi I could've had probably would've been more enjoyable". But here we are.

I dont believe anyone really directly said itwas a first-person shooter. It is insanely short, but if you are intelligent enough to understand what is going on, you might like it. If not, go back to COD and do your research before buying such a cheap game again.

Yes, it is called a first person shooter. Even in the end credits it is called a first person shooter. Don't troll until YOU do the research (it involves reading).

There are literally hundreds of cheap, entertaining games available on Steam, obviously they all can't be "more enjoyable". I posted this to warn those that don't feel like paying for something that should just be some Flash video on YouTube.

It was a great experience. Don't be fooled with The End sign, you can choose another game from the Carrer menu, as well as Developer commentary mode.

"Explore the world of Thirty Flights of Loving through a first-person short story." <-- first-person SHORT story. Not shooter. The word "shooter" does not appear on the store page. Did you do an Apple auto-complete after first-person? :) Plus: "Genre: Adventure, Indie, Casual" does not exactly imply that you get to kill stuff from your POV.. Plus, calling someone a troll on grounds of being of different opinion clearly constitutes a case of Godwin's law v2.0.

First, telling someone to go back to playing COD is definitely trolling, let alone the fact that I'm apparently not intelligent to understand what is going on according to Cogajon. Not just a difference of opinion but an insult too.

Second, I agree that the description does not say first person shooter, however, the developers felt differently because the little placard under "The End" sign states otherwise.

Third, hipster should have been listed under genre. Then I would have definitely stayed away.

Hey.
Maybe you should check out what it is your buying before you do?

I totally understand what you're saying - I loved Gravity Bone, which was free, so this sequel went straight to the top of my wishlist when it was released. But all the reviews and so on repeatedly said this had even less 'game' in it than Gravity Bone and was just an interactive story. This is all very well but since I'm paying for the damn thing I expect the price to be pennies before I actually spend money on something like that. I'm looking for games on Steam, not stories.

But yes, the other posters have a point when they say you should have researched what you were buying.

The games crashes for me right at the start when entering the door at the falling water.

------spoiler-----

there is obviously a shooting involved in the game so it's a first person shooter. (she got shot, and the other guy shoots birds)
