[EDITED AGAIN]first boss (golem) doesn't count apparently...

BWAHAHAHA I just got it fighting listine (day 10 boss) the AI went stupid and kept hopping around the top lily pad thing without ever trying to hit me.

That's a cue from fighting games, in where blocking means you are also taking damage, as minimum as it is. And, yeah, I guess Listine fight is the best to get this one. Just spam homing lasers and keep the distance and you'll get it.

Huh? When I got that achievement, I got hit plenty of times while blocking (no damage). I only noticed that the day 5 boss doesn't count towards this achievement.

oh is that the problem? jeez and I kept quitting when listine hit me while i was blocking D:
oh well makes me feel more awesome

you don't lose hp while blocking in this game though...

Yeah, I noticed you don't lose HP but, at the end of the day in question, you get a small percentage penalised if you blocked some stuff. (Says 96%~97%)

Either way, yep, Listine is the way to go. ;P

I do find it annoying a guard break damages you a LOT regardless of what hit you...
