[edit]well now it's at 3.00, I'm checking to see if the damage multiplier is effected by pinballing enemies into each other, i'm assuming if I see RED damage numbers i'm doing more damage?
[edit 2] got it to 3.35 using pinball wizard and just revenge, and launching one enemy into like 8 other enemies at least 3 times
I may just go finish the rest of the achievements and come back to this...
To make it more clear, I got both achievements in the training mode by keeping both enemies on the right edge of the stage, juggling them in the air with the "Ether Saber 2" basic skill.
still dont understand what counts as bouncing... launching up i guess but I did launch an enemy like 7-8 times in one combo...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBR2RzTsHKY (didn't make this video, but it shows how to do Fab Five)
Hahaha, get it? Fab 5...Attack x5, on Day 5.
Level and STR don't matter, just use Dying Rat and Direct Volley. The boss will crush your HP really fast if you let it, but this is what you have to do to maximize the bonus from Dying Rat. You should have just a sliver of HP left when you begin to execute the bounce combo. With 3 bounces (apparently bouncing an enemy off the hulking golem counts as well) the combined multiplier from Dying Rat and Direct Volley should exceed 5, thus granting you the achievement. I did this the same way as shown in the video, and it worked, but it was HELL...I died so many times, since when you get the Dying Rat bonus maximized, 1 hit from literally anything will kill you.
Also, Fists of Fairy (deal 1000 damage with a single hit) is a little bit tricky if you're lazy and don't want to spend hours grinding to max level on the same boss fight over and over. I got it by grinding to level 48 on the giant vortex boss, equipped STR boost and Dying Rat, and the counter attack move (starts with a T, can't spell it.) Get down to a sliver of HP (maximizing the Dying Rat modifier) and counter attack one of the stretchy punching golems that spawn around the vortex. The damage seems to have random variance, but do it enough times and it should hit 1k. For some reason, the stretchy golems seem to take more damage than the other enemies. There's probably an easier way to do this, though...just saying this worked for me. (was on Easy difficulty for this, if that matters)
I got Endless Waltz the way MP83 mentioned. Training mode, and just juggle the baddies over and over with Ether Saber 2 (down, up + attack) against the wall. Took a while to get the timing right, though. Fab Five isn't doable with the juggle in Training mode, though, since Dying Rat is impossible to maximize...your HP refills every time you take damage, to prevent you from dying, and the baddies don't damage you hardly at all anyways.
