Odd Slowdown in Demo version.

I was thinking about picking this up during the sale so I downloaded the demo version to give it a try. Like the game alot, however its very odd that it almost seems to be running in slow motion.

It is most prevalent when there are only a few enemies on the screen. When the screen gets full the game moves much faster.

Just wondering if this is a demo issues or if anyone has seen something like this in the actual game.
