360 Wireless Controller
Is anyone else having trouble getting this game to recognize a wireless 360 controller? I searched around and see many people mentioning that the game works fine with wired controllers, but nothing about the wireless ones. I'm using the official microsoft drivers on windows 8. Is there an option other than Xpadder?

I use a default and cheap controller and it works fine. Did you try connecting the controler to the pc via usb?

It works fine to me. I also use a wireless Xbox 360 controller, the game detected it during the first launch and I was able to configured it without a problem.

I didn't even know you could use wireless 360 controllers for PC gaming? Or is there a specific one you have to buy.

You either have to buy the one for the PC, or (I think) you can just buy the receiver. Not sure about that, though.

Well I decided to take a dig into the configuration text files. The issue seems to be related to another controller I have hooked up. Appatently the game sees both my 360 controller and my Razer Hydra. When I have both hooked up, the game won't accept input fromthe 360 controller, but if I unhook the hydra, even while the game is running, it will work fine. So it looks like I either have to unplug my hydra or use another piece of software to emulate the keyboard.

And apparently I found a fix that seems to have helped. Looking at the same config file, I noticed the hydra was apearing as pad 0 and the 360 was appearing as pad 1. As a fix, I uninstalled both in the windows device manager and reinstalled the 360 pad first, followed by the hydra. Now the game will work with my 360 controller while the hydra is plugged in. As another plus, the game will also accept input from the hydra.

So if anyone has a similar issue to mine with this game you should go into the device manager and uninstall all your controllers, then unplug them, and when you plug them back in, make sure the 360 controller gets plugged in first so it will get recognized as pad0 by the game.

you're kidding right? Since the dawn of the 360 era the wired AND wireless pads can be used on PC. There's an official MS bunble thet comes with the receiver, but if you already have controllers just look for the receiver on eBay

Eh, I'm using a Dual Shock 3, with the Xbox controller emulator and it's working fine
-using a Xbox controler for a 2D platformer with fighting game-like mechanics. Uh.
