If you like a combination of Thunder Force, Raystorm, and any top down STG then you'll find this very enjoyable.

This, so this! It has a very neat usage of the camera as well thanks to it being 3D and all.

Yes it's so good. Played the original japanese version, not your typical shmup.

Wouldn't you mind to detail your system specs and what happens when you try to run it? We might be able to help ya.

This game is one of my favorite games of all time. Easily one of the best I've played. A great solid shooter with an amazing presentation.

The game is fun, but this remaster is kinda lazy... No widescreen support, no proper keyboard icons, you can't even type your name, you have to select the letters like in a console.
Graphics are a bit better, and you can use higher resolutions (the original is 640x480 only).

The original is freeware, and suffers from the same issues mentioned above. I'm not sure if the graphical improvements alone are worth the purchase price... Especially without widescreen.

The original Ether Vapor is NOT freeware. It never was. That people pirated it indiscriminately from all sorts of sites is another thing.
