I wish they would update this (suggestions thread)
Don't get me wrong, I love the game. It's one of my all-time favs. I wish they would add a few features/fixes such as:

1. Either the ability to grab speed ups or let you change your speed while paused (like M.U.S.H.A). I think the ship could move just a tiny bit faster at times.
2. Power-ups to let you charge your meter faster.
3. Definitely could use higher resolution and widescreen settings.
4. A power up you can grab for your regular pews when using homing lasers.
5. Perhaps the ability to position your two mini-options in different angles besides diagonal.
6. If you continue during a boss battle, you don't end up with a Stage score 0.

Of course, this probably won't ever happen but I'd still like to say it.

6. is definitely not going to work.

Actually, pretty much everything you listed above except 3. and 5. are just not going to work out.

Loved the demo of this and plan on getting it. If I were to change one thing I wish they'd set the enemies bullets to all be different colours than yours. Some are the same as yours and it can be really hard to distingush who is firing at who.

I think this game does well enough without 'pickups'. And the ship isn't exactly slow - it just has a bigger hitbox than you'd expect at times depending on the perspective.

#5 is actually implemented - press and hold the Winder + Gatling keys (X first, then Z) and use the arrows to change the shot angle. It only works for Winder's side shots (and not on the Bonus Fighter since it doesn't have them). You're also frozen in place while you do it, so be careful.

After playing through the game many more times, I accidentally found #5 was already implemented.
