Xbox-Gamepad doesn't work right

Hi, my Gamepad isn't working right in Mark of the Ninja. In the Menu the cursor is too fast, so that i only could chose every 2nd menupoint. During the game i'm not able to press b for use. The charakter just jumps when i press b. What should i do to fix this.
The game isn't playable with those bugs.

I played the game with an XBOX wireless Gamepad without any problems...
have you tried running the Windows calibration in device settings? Or maybe your driver is outdated, there are some known problems when using the drivers delivered with the controller in Windows 8.

Windows 8 I presume? I'm having this problem, as well as a whole host of others in various games (Super Meat Boy to name one).

Just remembered how I fixed SMB and it works with this: Set Mark of the Ninja to Windows XP compatability mode if you're using Windows 8. That should fix your controller problem.

Even if you're not on Win8, worth a try. Worked for me.

Have you tried restarting the game/turning the controller off then turning the controller back on once you hit the main menu screen? Worked for me, as I hope it does for you.

With the new steam versions it runs perfect again! I love to play on my PC with this awsome pad! :)

Have this problem now with the Xbox One controller. Nothing is wrong with my controller and it is fully set up drivers and everything, just spent many hours playing Ori and the Blind Forest flalwessly. Windows 10 if that helps

There's an update for the xbox one controller that I'd missed. Updating the driver and restarting my PC has resolved the problem on my end. (Windows 10)
