Final Level - Checkpoint Glitch Still Exists?!

I'm in the final level of the main storyline and all of a sudden I just had a glitch break my game.

Halfway through the level, or more maybe, the game gave me a checkpoint where I spawn right in front of a stalker enemy. So the game goes into alert mode IMMEDIATELY when the checkpoint loads, and the enemy attacks me.

That was 4 years ago, so apparently this was never fixed... >:(

EDIT:
The tiny room this is in has two checkpoints apparently. One is on the left side of the room when you enter, and the other is on the right side... which is weird for a tiny room.

Reloading the right checkpoint causes the glitch and the attack on you. Reloading the left checkpoint is "normal."

However, the game has also made me have 0 points when I reload my checkpoint now, so I have to restart the level.

I may be necroing the thread but this just happened to me. And I must admit that after running this very interesting game up to this point, this is extremely infuriating.

I understand that minor bugs may never be fixed. but gamebreaking bugs/glitches (or call it poor design, as the game works as intended in a very unpleasant situation) like this one definitely should get some attention. Even after all these years.

Agreed. I enjoyed the game quite a lot and got around that issue, but it's quite poor to encounter it and to have to specifically dodge it after-the-fact.
