A little game about building tiny war machines with different bits and bobs ranging from crazy to sci-fi, then pitting them against other people's kooky war machines. Even with such a limited variety of parts, it's quite diverse in how many "tanks" you'll come across that you've never seen before. I wouldn't call some of the vehciles "tanks", though, as some hover, or crawl, or ooze, or even wheel about on go-kart tires while firing much more than just huge caliber rounds. Lasers, missiles, spears, harpoons and much more await to pelt your little toy's exterior.
For such an early state in development, it's quite good as a way to pass time between other games/activities in your day. It does get a bit boring when ones plays it again and again in one sitting, so I'd reccomend stopping maybe having a cup of tea or coffee or whatever before the flavor of this game gets stale on you.
A very nice perk is that for such a lovley little work, one can buy it for free! You can also spend more money on class slots, part inventory (which is normally unlocked bit by bit as you level up) and part possession (which you normally purchase using in-game cash awarded after each round of battle.) If you want to experiment, maybe do toss up the 20 dollars, but otherwise it's pretty easy to progress if you don't spend anything.
The art style is also a very pretty touch, like something out of a Pixar film but not /quite/. Almost like a gritter, yet comically explosive version of Rolly Pollie Ollie (if you ever saw that adorable cartoon as a child).
There are a few flaws that need to be ironed out, though. Some weapons are far overpowered to counter other's strategies, so don't be surpised if you get one-hit-killed by a sniper crawler skittering about from an impossible to reach spot. There's also not a /massive/ amount of parts, but as the game is developed, I assume more and more bits and bobs will be added. There's also a lack of gamemodes (only three, and one is a team-based variant of another), so as I said before, it can get a bit stale if you plan to farm coins for a sweet set of treads or the like.
Still, it's fairly nice for it's (nonexistant) price tag, so I'd go for it.
