When you play a ranked match, happen you find a good player, when the game finish "you lose/you win", will be nice a button "rematch" to play again same map and same opponent player... if both player press "rematch" there will be the rematch, if not they will exit the game as usual... i think this will be a nice feature...
Thing is, people could abuse that to feed each other rating, that's the sole reason rating is only gained through randomly matched opponents. If that option were to be implemented then the "rematch" would be unranked. For that you can simply add the player and invite him to a host match.
There is a way of catching up ... a very overpowered way right now. It's called ARG. When your base takes damage you can use that "!" button to use up your ARG meter which makes your next wave 25% stronger in terms of hp/armor/shield and 15% faster. It's going to be nerfed.
This is why i think the game would be much better if you added an ingame mic. So that when you play quick play you can communicate much easier with your teammates, typing in a fast pace game like this just doesnt work out and will always leave you behind.
Too bad... :( i dont like play unranked math, i want win or lose something... and rarely happen to play vs a player good for your level, or too good or too bad... :( at least do this chance for 1/2 other match can be nice...
Remove the braziers and/or remove the smoke effect they create. At least move the ones that smoke right in line with the starting pathway of the creeps.
Reduce the smoke trails of the catapults.
The snow effect. Cool; yes. Needed; no.
Allow the Gold Mines to be accessed through the control panel. This will alleviate scroll lag later in the game when trying to find your mines to upgrade. Of course, the two suggestions above might also fix this.
While we are at it, might as well have buttons for your base and their base, too. The buttons should snap the view to the base. Or, maybe add in an option to have a Picture-in-Picture for your base.
A better management of the upgrade windows. I don't feel it is necessary for the view to snap away from the action just so I can click an upgrade really quick.
Better way to mark a hex. Ability to mark more hexes at a time.
FREE dummy towers for MP games. Or maybe some sort of permanent way to mark a hex so we can plan out our mazes or intentions to maze better. Maybe a "dummy tower" isn't the way to go because it will enable a free way to grief other players. Not sure, but something would be nice so we can communicate how a maze should go. It is SO hard to get any type of communication without sacrificing your time.
Option to have a player list show up. At the very least we should be able to see our teammates in group games.
Going with the suggestion above... unless someone types when they are sending a wave, the only way you know is by viewing the barracks itself or by viewing the bars up at the top of the screen. However, the icon for the barracks on that bar blocks your view of the creeps for a few seconds. We should be able to see our teammates countdown timers to better coordinate our waves.
Better player color management. The "reds" tend to bleed together too much.
- Suggestion: Red, Yellow, Orange for one team; Blue, Purple, Green for another. Why you guys pulled magenta and teal/turquoise off the color wheel will always be a mystery to me. If you're going to make this change, might as well plan ahead and choose some "color-blind friendly colors".
When I am "the red team" in a game, the starting view places me over the "blue side" of the map. Sometimes I notice it, and others I don't. I guess it really doesn't matter. But I tend to start planning my maze the second the game starts. It would be nice to not have the confusion of looking at the other team's area.
+ map editor
+ join / host coop game without using steam friends list, more like regular campaign which automtically registers a games and joins a matching hosted game.
+ allows us to rotate, tilt and zoom the maps more
+ show more clearly the current / map level of each deployed tower, perhaps like for mines or perhaps stars or rank stripes
the graphics are tiny on my 1920x1200 screen and i have hard telling what i've upgraded
