Wired 360 Controller

Has the issues that I've read about with the wired 360 pad still present in the game or was it fixed? Most of the posts I've found concerning this topic are nearing 2 months old. I would like to buy the game but I'll pass if I have to stuck using a mouse/keyboard where the mouse has stupid mouse accel (do the devs of these games even play their own game and see how bad it is??)

Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, all the problems are still there. I just bought and downloaded this freaking game and I was so excited to play it. I've spent the last few hours searching the internet far and wide for a fix for this stupid stupid problem.
Now I'm trying to figure out how I can email Ubisoft directly and just ask them personally to assist me. I did it to 2k Games when I bought physical copies of the DLC for Borderlands because I didn't have internet access, then the DLC required internet access to activate. 3 or 4 sternly written emails later, and I was provided with a viable solution. Hopefully I can do the same to Ubisoft.

yeah, just tried it out with wireless 360 controller and it has really weird mapping "out of the box"....will look into it later, but now I'm too tired

ok got it to work with a workaround posted here somewhere in the forum...now its a nice game

Nope. I've seen it come and go on sale and always refused to buy it because they never fixed the controller support.

It's Ubisoft. Why would you expect them to care about anything other than your wallet. Once they get your purchase they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about you.

Honestly, if they advertise controller support (partial =/= broken) on the front page and it's a mass issue that it doesn't work I'd report it to Steam. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft.

Great, just bought the game to find out it doesn't have 360 controller support. and it's a frigging console port? lol. Only spent $3.74 on Gamersgate for it, but still! :)

Some companies are really f'ing weird when it comes to controller support. You'd think that would be priority one in today's day and age where everyone on the PC has a controller and most of them have a 360 controller since it's the one standard many can agree on. But then you find games like this, Mass Effect, Deadly Premonition and a few others that for some really weird reason don't include full controller support despite being a console game original. I sometimes wonder what conversations were had by the developers when making these decisions.

11.12.2013 установил игру и о чудо мой беспроводной wireless 360 controller заработал так как надо . Сейчас прохожу игру джойстик работает отлично лагов и глюков не наблюдаю

Maybe I'm missing something, but my Xbox controller works just fine in this game. Are there other issues with it or something?

I dont see what the problems are. I have been playing the game for 2-3 days now and using a wired xbox 360 controller just fine. All i had to do was go in the settings ingame and turn it on and it worked fine. i tried mouse and keyboard sine they both worked at the sametime and i ended up going back to the gamepad for climbing. i thought mouse might be better for combat but the gamepad worked fine sicne the game isnt super heavy on combat and you can switch between fine aiming and lock on aiming by pressing the Right stick down once.

either the problems were fixed or they arent specific to the game itself and must be a conflict only some people experience.
