Annoying Glitch
Something annoying is happening right now.
Every time I load up my latest save file all of my equipment, and inventory stock, gets swapped out for stuff I had equipped and had earlier in the game.

Is there a patch I can get or an update to fix this?
Has anyone else had this problem to?

Are your earlier saves ok?

Try deleting all of the files in the '..\Divine Divinity\Dynamic' folder.
This folder is used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied from that folder when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Divinity. It is possible an inventory file in the cache wasn't updated properly, so the previous equipment got written into the next save. If that is the problem, deleting the files should prevent it from happening again, but will not fix the problem in your latest save.

If you are missing any quest items, and can not (or don't wish to) reload an earlier save, they can be replaced:

Lost Items - guide and directory of inventory files[www.larian.com]

Lost equipment can be recreated (as best as you can recall, anyway) using DAD's item editor[www.xanlosch.de] or the older Divine Divinity Item Editor[hem.passagen.se] (which should work better in Vista/7/8; DAD's editor requires Visual Basic runtime files which may not be included or installed properly in post XP versions of Windows).

I don't recall anyone having this exact problem, but a couple people have had missing quest items in a new game with quests they completed with the previous character.

Thanks I'll try this out when I'm disconnected from the internet

Also I didn't have any quest items so I'm ok there

Tried what you suggested, didn't work. All of my saves with my original character were affected and the game crashed when ever I went to the market district. I had to restart all over again.

Which really isn't a bad thing, since I can play around with my reborn character for longer
