Duels 2015, make all decks unlockable?
I don't mind buying the new Duels core game every year, and sometimes I even buy the expansion sets.
But after a few years I start to miss decks from older years. I can't really go back and play the older core games because the player base moves on to the newest year.
Magic's player base has exploded, so I would imagine lots of newer players havn't boughten the older games.
So my idea is for a future Duels game to have all of the decks from all previous games available, as long as you have bought them.

This would give guys like me who have lots of decks a massive boost, also people would go back and buy older DLC and core games, giving a big boost in sales to the devs.

i agree with you and also bring the old cards (like uncle estovan, norritt, black lotus, lure, venom etc) back in. i did like the plainswalker (i mean the cards that could either help u or hinder u (mtg plainswalkers 2012)

Yeah, that'd be something I'd like to see. Some of the older decks are pretty terrible, but it'd just be nice to have more decks to choose from. And it's not like they have to make them up or anything

This would be very good thing to have. They really have no reason why not to even do it.

There is a very good reason not to do it, and it is called balance. There are older decks out there that have proved to be overpowered and it would not been fun at all if all your opponents were playing the same. At least with each new game people has to figure out again which deck will dominate instead of relying in the tried and tested decks.

Balance is a lame excuse to not include all the previous decks. The wizards can simply tune the power level of each deck by editing the regular/promotional unlocks. It's not that difficult to nerf an overpowered deck.

I love this idea. The more decks the funner it is

They could just have different formats for balance like they do with normal mtg.

They want dotp lame this way. It's so you get sick of it and go dish out money on paper or mtgo cards.

If the older players can move their decks from the previous versions of Duels of the Planeswalkers, the game become less friendly to the newer players. It's bad enough playing against people who can beat you with crappy hands. If you let demigods play their best decks over the past five years, there will be no new players.

Duels of the Planeswalkers yearly editions are meant for new players of MTG. (Or, in my case, someone getting back into the game.) Wizards already has a game for power players, MTGO. Wizards cannot survive only the existing player base only. They need new blood, and that's the purpose of Duels of the Planeswalkers.

It'll never happen. Wizards wants you to eventually get MtG online and pay an insane amount of $$$. Duels is just a teaser IMHO.

why cant they just let you move all your cards and make a pro player section for pro players

I'd like that.
